THE MARFAN   MOTHER

We are a completely ordinary family that consists of me Petra, the 48-year-old mother, little Freja who everything is about who is now 4.5 years old, father Jonas 38 years old, big sister Elza 15 years old and not to forget big brother Melker 19 years old but living with his father. Melker and Elza are my children from my previous marriage so Freja is mine and Jonas.

I created this page to highlight this with an odd diagnosis, to be able to write myself off and that there are perhaps others out there in the same situation.

We live in the country in a tiny house/farm where we managed to squeeze in three dogs and four cats.

Jonas works as a machine operator in the forest and I in care for the elderly.

 

We live like a normal family up here in the north, I guess. Commute a lot to the mountains where we love to be and drive scooters and fish, even in the summer its fantastic with this mirror-like water and lovely mountains.

When not working, we hang out with friends where we cook and often play games (games are fun) or relax at home.

Jonas hunts of course so what you live on is mostly moose meat, likewise I never buy fish but we fish ourselves, its a way of life.

We have two hunting dogs, a new male - a now 12 week old hound called Texas and an older female who hunts sometimes - a gray dog called Naestie, then not to forget the fawn - aunt dog Archie, a small aunt cross of these typical yelping dogs which all aunties have :D

Our 4 cats are completely ordinary farm cats and they sweep the farm clean of mice and other things, perfect!

The horses we have are two warmbloods, a mare who is a rescue mare who has gotten up in years but lively as a roach :) She is very reserved towards people and is more than happy to bite.

The gelding is a big cuddly bear and behaves more like a dog. The horses are ridden in a western spirit and trained NH.

I have my whole family down in Skåne but meet them every year either by them coming up or us going down. We meet Jonas family as often as possible, you need your family and its fantastic to be all together.
